The National Institutes of Health has renewed funding to the Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center at Indiana University School of Medicine for the fifth consecutive five-year term, awarding the center its largest grant yet: $9.1 million.
Healthy women (who have never had cancer) are invited to participate in a study of memory and concentration changes related to cancer treatment. Participants should be between the ages of 65 and 69, have at least a 10th grade education and be without neurologic, major medical or psychiatric conditions (for example, no history of depression or anxiety requiring treatment).
